Sensory-friendly toolkits, information, and resources are available at all Hillsborough County Public Libraries.
Sensory Toolkits
Sensory Toolkits are available at all HCPLC locations for in-library use. Individuals with ASD and other neuro-diversities can experience either too much or too little sensory input. Our toolkits have both sensory relieving tools like headphones and sunglasses, and sensory stimulating tools like fidget and stress toys.
Speak to library staff during your next visit to use one of our toolkits. Contact us for more information.
Social Narratives
A social narrative is a written and visual guide to help people adjust to a new environment and meet social expectations of the library. Select a library location below to find out more about what to expect before your visit.
